Casa Rita is in the centre of Scauri in a
tranquil private street.
The
distance
from the sea is only 300 metres. In the house
there are two nice and well kept apartments.
Every apartment has a courtyard with parking. In
the courtyard there is a table with chairs where
you can relax , eat and enjoy the sun.
Each of the apartments has two rooms, one well
furnished kitchen, one veranda and a bathroom
with shower.
Guests has also the use of iron, ironing board
and washing machine.
The apartments are provided with heating,
therefore you can have a pleasant stay also in
the winter months.
D’intorno
Scauri is a famous seaside resort in the Gulf
of Gaeta. The coast suddenly rises up to the
Aurunci Mountains. The distance of the tops of
these mountains to the sea is only 7 kilometres
(Mount Petrella 1533 metres). The town is
surrounded by green hills with typical
Mediterranean plants. You can find a sand beach
four kilometres long and small bays.
The natural reserve of the Parco Riviera di
Ulisse is inviting for walks. There is an
extensive area of archaeological interest in the
park in which the remains of the Roman Villa of
Mamurra (1st century BC) can be seen.
Besides this you can visit the remains of the
Roman town Minturnae, which was located on the
famous Appian Way (Via Appia).
